Isabelle Duerr graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Before attending law school, she worked for the TCU College Advising Corps in a local Fort Worth high school, helping students pursue post-secondary education. At Cumberland, Isabelle serves as an Associate Justice on the Moot Court Board and competes on the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Team. Following graduation, she will join Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers.

For Isabelle, the best part of serving on the Journal is the opportunity to elevate her legal research and writing skills to the next level. Her favorite academic experience was Legal Research and Writing with Professor Taaffe, where she gained practical, real-world skills that will carry through her entire legal career. Outside of her studies, Isabelle enjoys practicing Hotworx, doing arts and crafts, playing the piano, and traveling.
