Reagan Keener graduated from Covenant College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Biology. Before attending law school, she gained introductory legal experience as a legal assistant for Puryear, Pippenger & Cook and Price Law Group. At Cumberland, Reagan serves as President of the Tennessee Bar Student Association, a Writing & Advocacy Scholar for the Center for Children, Law, & Ethics, a Lexis Representative, a Law Library Student Assistant, and Vice President of the International Scholars Society. Her clerkship experience includes working with Gowin Law, Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, and Gearhiser Peters. Following graduation, Reagan will serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief United States Magistrate Judge Steger in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

For Reagan, the highlight of serving on the Journal is the strong sense of camaraderie and working toward a shared goal alongside dedicated peers. Her favorite academic experience was taking Bioethics with Professor Smolin, which challenged her to explore the complex intersections of law, medicine, and morality. Outside of law school, Reagan enjoys playing volleyball, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog back home.
